This is a blog for those who have realized the error of their ways. We have all done wrong things in the past and it is time to own up to them. As a man I can tell you that I have done or thought wrong things. When I was younger, much younger I didn't understand what moral issues were all about. I didn't even understand the Golden Rule or that girls were fundamentally different and altogether unique and special creatures.
At some point and time, I don't remember how long ago it was to the year, I thought that were meant to be used by men for our own personal whims. Of course back then I had no idea about what sex was, but I thought that when you got older and had a wife you ordered her around, that was what she was there for, right?
Now I don't remember where I got this idea from or at the time that it came, but I remember that my parents weren't like this at all so it wasn't from at home. It was like somewhere before I had gotten to the age of reason, somewhere before I possessed a good deal of cognitive thought, I had been brought to the conclusion by who ever that women were meant to be used.
My point in saying this is that I think this is the first problem we must identify when we come to ask the question what is wrong with men?
Many men go through this stage, many of them never come out of it. Many of them go into their adolescence looking for sex without any need for commitment because women are disposable pleasures, meant to be won and not to be thought of as worthwhile, long term pursuits.
So before we went any deeper, we had to find the starting point. And that's where it begins.
